January 3rd!!!

We went for my 2nd prenatal appointment this morning, and we got to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time! It was so neat. It sounded like a little washin' machine in my belly. The heartbeat was good and healthy (170). Doc said everything sounds like it's going fine, and now that we've heard the heartbeat, there's even a smaller chance of anything going wrong. That was GREAT news to me considering I'm a huge worry wart about this pregnancy.

Other great news - we made our appointment for our 20 wk. sonogram. That's when we find out if we're having a boy or girl!! Our appointment is set for 3:30pm on Thursday, January 3rd!!

More great news - Bryan is FINALLY comfortable telling people that I'm pregnant. He called his friends today and started spreading the news. You should have seen his face when he heard the heartbeat - just like a proud daddy.

Oh yeah - our due date is now May 26, 2008 rather than May 30. It's gonna be a Memorial Day baby (if it's on time).
