18 Months!!

I guess it's about time for me to post about Drew's 18 month birthday...considering he'll be 19 months in two days! We went for his checkup in November, and came out of it with a couple of unexpected issues. First, when the doctor listened to his breathing, he told me he was wheezing pretty bad. SO, we had to break out the nebulizer treatments once again. I was hoping this winter would be a good one when it comes to Drew's breathing issues, but it started out pretty rough. Second, Drew had to have BOTH flu shots...H1N1 and the regular one. Doc said since he has the breathing problems, if he were to get H1N1, his lungs would be really bad off. We didn't want to take that chance, so we decided to go with the doctor's recommendation. Drew didn't feel very well the first couple of days after, but he finally got back to himself. After 7 days of breathing treatments, his wheezing went away and he's been fine ever since! As for his measurements, he's in the 50% for height (down from 75% at 15 months), 10% for weight, and 50% for head circumferance. He's a skinny dude with big cheeks and a big personality! We are so blessed to have him as our son. He keeps us on our toes every day, and of course makes us laugh even more than that.

He says "Cheese" for the camera now!

Just being cute.
