Nonnie Turns 47??

April 23rd was my mom's birthday, but since it was only 3 days after Anissa was born, we decided to celebrate it late. We had Buca Di Beppo brought in, and my dad went out of his way to pick up, not one, but TWO birthday cakes! We had carrot cake and Boston Cream Pie...definitely two of my mom's favorites. He also preceeded to buy birthday candles...a '4' and a '7'. The problem with that was my mom is NOT 47. I know she wishes she was ten years younger, and she definitely looks younger than her age, but she's not. When we asked my dad why he did that, he said, "I forgot!" It was funny which made the party even better. Mom, we hope you had a WONDERFUL birthday, and maybe next year Dad will get your age right.
