A New Tradition Started?

This Christmas season has been a little different for us. I usually have the Christmas decorations, tree, and lights up at least a week before Christmas, but this year I just didn't have the energy, and Bryan didn't have the time. SO, instead of our traditional 6-7 ft. Christmas tree, we borrowed Kaki's (Bryan's mom) 4-footer pre-lit tree. We didn't want to bother with getting the ornaments down from the attic, so we spent this evening making our own ornaments. Drew colored while I cut, glued, and glittered. Bryan was a pro when it came to the chain (even though it's not quite long enough). It was a really fun experience, and I know Drew will enjoy it even more in the years to come. It may just become our new Davenport family tradition!
